Delivery for Online Orders Only | Oaklands Furniture, Bed Centre & Comfort Centre

We offer delivery across mainland UK for all online orders, ensuring that your furniture reaches you safely and efficiently. Please note that there are exceptions where delivery surcharges may apply due to additional costs imposed by our couriers. For full details, please review the information below before placing your order.


Standard Delivery & Surcharges

Our standard delivery applies to the majority of mainland UK orders, but in certain areas where additional courier charges are incurred, we may need to apply delivery surcharges. These include the following categories:

  • Mirrored furniture: £30.00

The following postcode areas will incur surcharges at checkout:

  • Scotland (EH, DG, FK, G, KA 1-26, 29-30, KY, ML, PA 1-19, TD) – £40

  • Scotland (AB, DD, IV 1-28, 30-32, 36, 40-49, 52-56, KW 1-3, 5-14, PA 21-38, PH 1-26, 30-41) – £72

  • Wales (LL, LD, SY16-20, 23-25) – £45

  • Wales (SA) – £45

  • Wales (CF, NP) – £40

  • North East (NE, CA, LA) – £45

  • Isle of Man (IM) – £40


Delivery Timescales for Furniture Orders

We aim to deliver your furniture order within 14-21 days. However, most orders are delivered within 7-10 working days. Our reliable courier partner, XDP, will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery time once your order has been processed.


2-Man Service for Large Items

If your order is large or heavy, it may be delivered via a 2-man service, which may take a little longer. Please be patient as we ensure the safe delivery of your items. We recommend arranging a suitable delivery time with the courier when booking your delivery.


Failed Deliveries & Redelivery Charges

We always contact you prior to delivery to confirm a suitable delivery day. If you are not home at the scheduled time, failed deliveries may incur a re-delivery charge. This charge covers the cost of returning the item to our warehouse and rescheduling a new delivery.


Order Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled prior to shipping, with no fees incurred. Once your order has been processed and is with the courier, cancellations will incur delivery charges based on the size and weight of your order. Please note that made-to-order beds cannot be cancelled once we’ve placed the order with the supplier.


Collection from Our Worcestershire Warehouse

If you live locally in Worcestershire or the West Midlands, you’re welcome to collect your order directly from our warehouse. Please contact us first on 01527 872202 (Mon - Fri, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM) to arrange collection.


Damaged Goods on Delivery

If your item is damaged during delivery, please report it to the delivery driver at the time of delivery. We cannot process claims for damage if the issue is not reported immediately upon arrival. Ensure all boxes are checked for visible damage before signing for the delivery.
